Account opening procedure
 

Step 1 : Complete Application Form and sign the Client Agreement

Individual and joint account

  1. Complete and sign a Client Agreement and Client Application Form
  2. Submit supporting documents:
  • Copy of Hong Kong I.D. or Passport and Name card
  • Income Proof (Bank statement/Tax Returns)
  • Address Proof (within 6 months)
  • Others (Specified by your Account Executive)

Corporate account

  1. Complete and sign a Client Agreement and Corporate Application Form
  2. Submit the following documents:
  • Certified copy of Certificate of Incorporation
  • Certified copy of Business Registration
  • Certified copies of Memorandum & Articles of Association
  • Certified copy of Directors List
  • Certified copy of Shareholders List
  • Certified copy of the latest audited Financial Statements
  • Hong Kong ID or Passport copy of Director / Shareholders / Guarantor / Authorizer. Name card of account representative with Guarantee letter
  • Board resolutions which approve the entry into the acceptance of the agreement
  • Others (Specified by your Account Executive)

 


Step 2 : Return the completed document to our office

Return by person the signed Application Form, and all other necessary documents to Quam Securities' office or any branch.

Step 3 : On-line Trading Account
Login assigned account and change the password

Under normal circumstances, your account can be activated within 5 working days upon receiving your completed application. User ID and Password will be assigned to you and you may use it to access your Internet account. Follow the "Procedures to Activate Internet Trade Account" to verify the identity of the user. However, you may not be able to trade immediately until you deposit sufficient funds or stocks into your account.
You must change your password at the first time you access your Internet account. If you encounter any problems in changing your password or if you forget your password, you may call our Customer Services Hotline at (852) 2847-2266 / 2847-2222 during the office hour (9:00am - 6:00pm, Mon - Fri). You may also contact your Account Executive for any queries.


If you are an existing client and would like to trade via Internet, you can complete an Internet Trade Application Form, you will be given an new account code for trading on Internet.
